Artist’s Statement

With a profound experience spanning over twelve years in the filed of photography and diverse art forms, I have embarked upon a creative venture to establish a distinct imaginative domain—a tertiary world that resides on the threshold between the realms of fantasy and reality. This world is characterized by its elusive and unattainable nature, yet it remains within our grasp.

At the core of this visionary universe lies a central protagonist—myself, portrayed as a woman. My intention is to depict this woman in a manner that transcends the confines of any specific historical epoch, enabling viewers to perceive her with unrestrained interpretation. Through her portrayal, I aspire to accentuate the restraints, prejudices, and societal pressures that women encounter.

My artistic endeavors strive to evoke contrasting elements. These include the interplay of tenderness and violence, beauty and ugliness, and illumination and obscurity. Additionally, I delve into the dichotomy between concealment and revelation, presence and absence, and existence and oblivion.

Undeniably, my primary wellspring of inspiration emanates from observing women and grappling with the social, political, and familial circumstances entrenched within the society I inhabit and grew up in. The profound impact of Iranian classical music and poetry, which have been ingrained in my being since childhood, greatly influences the selection and stylistic approach employed in the production of my visual creations.

Throughout my artistic process, I undertake multiple roles, assuming diverse identities and perspectives, in order to authentically articulate the multifaceted dimensions of my artistic vision.

Déclaration de l’artiste

Ayant une solide expérience de plus de douze années dans le domaine de la photographie et diverses formes d’art, je me suis lancée dans une entreprise créative dans le but de créer un domaine imaginatif distinct.

Un monde tertiaire entre le royaume de la fantaisie et celui de la réalité, qui se caractérise par sa nature évasive et inaccessible mais néanmoins à notre portée.

Au cœur de cet univers visionnaire se trouve un protagoniste central – moi-même, dépeinte en tant que femme. Mon intention est de représenter cette femme transcendant les époques, permettant aux spectateurs de la percevoir avec une interprétation sans entraves.

Avec cette représentation, j’aspire à mettre en évidence les contraintes, les préjugés et les pressions sociales auxquels les femmes sont confrontées.

Mes efforts artistiques évoquent des éléments contrastés. Il s’agit notamment de l’interaction entre la tendresse et la violence, la beauté et la laideur, l’illumination et l’obscurité. J’explore également la dichotomie entre le secret et la révélation, la présence et l’absence, l’existence et l’oubli.

Indéniablement, ma principale source d’inspiration découle de l’observation des femmes et de leurs luttes face aux circonstances sociales, politiques et familiales ancrées dans la société dans laquelle je vis et où j’ai grandi. 

L’impact profond de la musique classique et de la poésie iranienne, qui sont ancrées en moi depuis l’enfance, influence grandement la sélection et l’approche stylistique employées dans la production de mes créations visuelles.

Tout au long de mon processus artistique, j’endosse plusieurs rôles, assumant des identités et des perspectives diverses, afin d’articuler de manière authentique et sincère les dimensions multifacettes de ma vision artistique.
